Translation

1–7    On the first day of Nisan, at dawn, the muba[nnû]-priest will come down to the courtyard of Bēl with a key, [and] the clamp(?) of the sanctuary(?) of the house, which is in the temple of [. . .], the water from the inside upon [. . .]. He will go to the High Gate [with] the key [. . .]. He will go before the cistern and [open] the door of the cistern. [. . . he] will throw, the water [. . .].
