Obv.

1'–4' [. . .] . . . [. . .] city [. . .] his un[just(?) d]eeds [. . .] laughter [. . .]

5'–9' [. . .] the gods, progeny of A[nu(?) . . .] the day [. . .] Šamaš, the illuminator     [. . .] the lord of lords, Marduk, in the steadfastness of his heart, [. . .] the circumference of the entire (earth). The sovereign who did not provide [for Esagila – his son] felled him with weapons.

9'–13' Tukultī-Ninurta son of Arad-Esagil carried off cou[ntless plunder and had] waters [flow] over Babylon and Esagila. His son, with his own hands, slaughtered him with weapons like a sheep. [His palace] he burned with fire, he cut down old and young with weapons.

13'–16' "The evil offspring" (Sennacherib) son of "the slain one" (Sargon II) [. . .] carried off cou[ntless plunder and had] waters [flow] over Babylon and Esagila. His son, with his own hands, smashed his head with weapons. [. . .] his lordship for sake of the cultic rites of Annunītu.

Rev.

1–3 [The king] of Elam demolished the city (Babylon) and carried off a large amount of plunder. He inflicted its [defe]at like the flood. He burned [with fir]e all the cult centers of Akkad (and) their sanctuaries. Kutir-naḫḫunte – his son pierced his heart inside his (body) with an iron sword.

4–7 [Bē]l snatched away and sought out the wicked kings, the ev[il]doers. [Assem]bled (together), bound – (all) those at whom Marduk, king of the gods, was angry – [. . .] (with) illnesses, their breast was convulsed, thei[r] plans [. . .]. All of them withdrew to the steppe before the king our lord.

8–9 [Šazu, the one who k]nows the hearts of the gods, the merciful one, Marduk – at the inviocation of his name may he return shiningly [to Babyl]on (and) Esagila!

10–12 [May Bēl] put this [in] your heart! The king, our lord – may the king bl[ess] [. . .] . . . his heart (may) the gods [. . .]. A sinner will not [endure].
